Innovation in the case study

The title “PROTECOW” refers to the words “protein”, “economic-ecological” and “cow”.

The aim of the project is to improve the profitability of dairy farming and to reduce the nitrogen input and import of soy meal per litre of milk produced.

This interactive innovation case aims to encourage incremental innovation and small changes at dairy farmer level through exchange of knowledge and experience rather than more fundamental research.
