Innovation in the case study

Farming Connect is a comprehensive programme of business support. Within its knowledge exchange activity it engages multiple actors in activities, including: Agrisgôp groups utilising an action learning approach to collaboration, innovation and knowledge exchange; EIP Wales Operational Groups – over 40 commenced to date.

The programme also supports a demonstration network and encourages knowledge transfer across its activities, utilising these opportunities to cross-pollinate ideas and identify effective partnership opportunities for a range of actors to come together and collaborate.

This is facilitated by a core team of staff at a regional and national level that signpost to opportunities and encourage the forming of new relationships to innovate. The knowledge exchange hub provides a valuable interface to inspire innovation.
