Better rural innovation

Linking actors, instruments and policies through networks

Welcome to LIAISON!

LIAISON is an EU-funded ‘research and innovation’ project that aims to help unlock the potential of “working in partnership for innovation” in agriculture, forestry and rural business.

We are a diverse team of academics and practitioners from 17 organisations in 15 countries.  This website provides a window on our work together between May 2018 and August 2021.

You will find a lot of information here on our website.  We have included explanation of the work we are doing (and why!), who we are working with and the materials we have produced for you – the users of our results.

As much as possible we have tried to use plain, easy-to-read language.  But some sections of the website, including some of our project documents, are inevitably written in a much more scientific and technical language.  We hope you enjoy the diversity!

Please feel free to give us your feedback on our work.

We need your help!

One of the aims of the LIAISON project is to enhance the way that we work together in projects.  This includes sharing experiences about workshops tools and facilitation methods for enhancing co-creation and collaborative work between various rural actors.

In order to create a useful Practitioners’ Handbook about these methods, we need your help!  Please click on the link below and answer the short questionnaire about your experiences and needs.
