Innovation in the case study

Inno4wood builds bridges, among other things, through events and activities for specific target groups within the framework of a cross-border platform for innovation and qualification (IQ-Holz). The project partners also used the project period to support companies with their development processes.

The focus of Inno4wood was on innovation of process and culture rather than innovation of products. In the course of the Inno4wood project, entrepreneurs, architects, political decision makers, craftsmen and other stakeholders were brought together to exchange ideas about the modern use of wood. 

Despite the focus on innovation in culture and process, many concrete innovations were realised, such as the founding of the Immenstadt Holzkompetenzzentrum.
